If your students love snowmen as much as mine always do, the winter was the perfect time to indulge in some fun read alouds! In fact it’s one of my favorite thematic units for January. I loved to have some crafty activities for my younger learners, and then from 1st-3rd grade, some more science and academic based snow themed activities were on the menu as well (although we can’t underestimate the love an 8 year old still has for playdough and a good old picture book!)

Here are some of my favorite stories about snowman for your PreK through early elementary classroom.

I’m also in love with this snowstick craft and the graphing pages that go along with it ! Check it out to get the graphing pages for free!
