You know what they say about April… April showers bring May flowers. In April, I always look forward to all things spring themed (and usually carry them right through May).

If you’re busy and need a quick freebie for your students, check out these April favorites!

These Easter word problems are perfect for Easter time, and can also give you an idea of  what my spiraled math review journals are like!

This oral retell  freebie is perfect for spring. The full Ugly Duckling resource includes tons more, but this will get you started! It’s also a great peak into my Fairy Tale resources, since they’re all formatted similarly.

Frog and Toad is honestly perfect for all year, but if you’re thinking about spring, frogs come to mind! It’s also perfect for end of the year first graders! This free sample includes the chapter 1 materials for Frog and Toad All Year.

This freebie is a perfect print and go word building puzzle. It goes great with my set of Rabbit Emergent readers, or is great to use on its own! Just color, cut and build the word again!
